H.A.R.T. Food distribution, Day 2

Today was our second event. We gave out about 4000 lbs of dog food to people in Washington County, and our Little Emma got adopted by a wonderful family!

A special thanks to Best Friends Animal Society for donating this dog food to us! They have been so amazing helping us get started, and we couldn't have done this without them!

It was held at All Fur Love groomers and Bone Appetit in Washington, Utah. A BIG HUGE thanks to the wonderful people with these 2 businesses here in Washington County who helped us out so much by letting us hold our event at their place!

H.A.R.T. Food distribution, DAY 1

July 30, 2009

Today was our first big event.
In a little less than 3 hours, we distributed 6000 lbs of dog food to families in Washington County.
This event was held at the St George Animal Shelter. One shelter dog got adopted, and 2 more had folks who were coming back to get them later.

YAY!! Success!!!

The BIG Haul

Best Friends Animal Society donated 16,000 lbs of dog food to H.A.R.T.
That is an incredible amount of food that we are going to be able to distribute to the families of Washington county who may need help in these hard economic times.

WOW.

We rented a moving truck, and had a flat bed trailer as well. Loaded all the pallets that would fit, and hand loaded as many bags as we could after that.

They also donated several other items to us... loaded up our truck seats with tennis balls, dog collars, bowls, and more! It was AWESOME!
